Roulette is one of the most popular casino games in the world. There are a variety of options for inside bets including straight, split, corner and street bets. Outside bets are bets on groups of numbers or specific sections of the wheel. These bets have lower odds of winning but can offer higher payouts than other bets. The payouts for outside bets vary depending on the type of bet and the section of the wheel they are placed in. The Dozens Bet (also known as douzaine in French) is a bet that the winning number will be in either the first, second or third dozen on the layout. This bet pays out 2-1. The Odd or Even Bet is similar, except that you’re wagering that the winning number will be odd or even — not in the 0 or 00 pocket, which give the house an edge. This bet pays out 1:1.
